“Document their work using appropriate conventions (MLA)” is learning outcome number five. I feel like I demonstrate this through my second paper as well, which can be seen on my reference page as well throughout my paper where I used in-text citations. I feel like using proper MLA formatting was not very difficult because MLA was the formatting that my teachers expected us to use throughout high school. But I utilized my online resources to double check and clarify when I was citing a new types of source such as audio or a video, as well as the help from my professor to ensure that I was giving proper credit to the authors work which I was using. Learning outcome six states that students must be able to “control sentence-level error” which I feel that I have showed and improved on through my English 110 course just by writing more regularly and more at length than I have since high school.
