I anticipate that my group will work really well together to produce a high-quality project. I anticipate that my team will accomplish our project by collectively deciding on a topic and creating a project outline and then assigning individual tasks to each group member to fully complete our project. As of right now my group communicates in class as a group and then outside of class by text and through email. So far this communication plan seems to be working for everyone and we are able to complete tasks effectively and on time. I do not anticipate my group will have any problems because we all seem like a very motivated group of individuals all trying to receive the highest grade possible. However, if we do run into conflict, I believe that we will be able to handle it collectively as a group through good communication. However, if we can’t perhaps, we will have to reach out to our professor as a mediator or for some advice.
I think that our group being all in the same clinical group together is a huge benefit for us! It allows us to work together in class but also allow for all be together at least one day a week at clinical to be able to discuss our project and time if we need to work on the project following clinical. Again, I do not foresee us having any barriers but if we did, I think it might be related to everyone’s very different and busy schedules. I think we will be able to avoid this by being open with each other about our schedules and times where we might not be able to do as much as others and being proactive with our communication. I think that this project will be useful in our future nursing careers by not only helping us to be very familiar with our topic of research but also just getting familiar with working professionally with a large group of people to accomplish a common goal. I look forward to working with my group to complete this project and seeing our final product.
