Writing this paper has certainly been a learning experience, in the best way! I feel like I not only learned a lot about our research topic, but evidence-based practice as a whole. I also learned about myself through this process and my team members as well. I think that throughout the different stages of writing this paper my partners and I began to work better as a team. We began to discover each-other strengths and weakness and were able to tailor our writing and processes around that. I found that I tend to like to be in the drivers seat so it was defiantly a challenge at times to take a step back and work collaboratively as a group. But I learned that three brains can be so much more powerful than one! I also felt like I was able to help my teammates out as well by giving some positive feedback and assisting them when they found themselves to be stuck on something. Overall I think we worked really well together as a team to achieve our final paper, which I am very proud of. I really enjoyed our topic as well and think that I learned a lot about different ways that nurse can help to provide patients with a comfortable and heath promoting environment to heal in. I also learned so much about evidence based research and the many different ways that nurse s can play a part in this research. I hope to take all of my new knowledge and skills learned and carry them over to my practice as a nurse. I think that by doing this I will not only become a better nurse but also be able to provide my patients with the best care possible.
