I assume that nurse play a large role in research, specifically regarding evidence implementation and generation. Nurse can play many roles when it comes to research, they can either help to facilitate research or they can participate in research. Nurse can play a very vital role in research because of their direct association to healthcare and the patients. Not only can nurse play an important role in the research itself but they can also contribute to the ethics of research being conducted. Nurse can help to monitor research making sure ethical components such as consent, HIPPA regulations, and patient safety are being maintained at all times. I assume this because this is what nurses do on an everyday basis while caring for their clients. Nurse can also help to facilitate the research by making sure the clients understand the research being done, that the patients are being compliant with the research, and also monitor for any barriers to the research or provide feedback on how to make the research better. Lastly, when it comes to research implementation in the health care field, nurses are the #1 people that could implement these new finding into practice due to their relativeness to the patients.
