I feel like I now approach anointing in a systematic way, which has really helped me. I find it easier to annotate if I read/ skim through the reading first and then beginning my annotations, as well as eliminate all distractions and make the most out of my reading experience/ time. 

1. Surrounding Context – Necessary Edges: Arts, Empathy, and Education was originally published on the World-Post, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in January 2014. It was written by the very accomplished cellist and songwriter Yo-Yo Ma. 
2. Circunstancial Context – Besides the fact that this reading was assigned for English homework, the purpose of this reading was to answer the question, does art have a role to play in the world? in education?
3. Intentional Context – Yo-Yo Ma’s intentional context was to prove how you can not have balance in any part of you life without art and that schools should make it a point to incorporate art into their curriculum especially in our STEM oriented world. 

Concentrated – wholly directed to one thing; intense.

Repertoire – a stock of plays, dances, or pieces that a company or a performer knows or is prepared to perform.

Lascivious – (of a person, manner, or gesture) feeling or revealing an overt and often offensive sexual desire.
